Method

• Show the source, or do not show the value. A value needs a source file and a locator. Ask does not answer when it finds no source.
• A missing value stays blank. A blank value is not zero. A total skips a blank value. Zero is a stored zero.
• The system proposes. A person confirms. The model does not write objective values into the book.
• An FX value needs three parts. A converted value needs a rate, a date, and a source. If one part is missing, the product does not show the converted value.
• A saved key is not a connection. A health check must succeed before the product shows “connected”.
• Each firm’s rows stay in that firm. The database forces row security on tenant tables. A session for one organisation cannot read another organisation’s book.
• The model does not book a figure. It can propose a row or rewrite a draft using numbers already in that draft. It cannot write the book, and it cannot answer Ask without a citation.
